Our Alcohol and other related programs can support you and your family in your recovery journey.
We understand that you can be dealing with a range of issues at one time and your program will be designed to help you work through them. We can support your recovery from drug, alcohol, mental health and gambling addiction whilst also helping you to rebuild your connections to family and community.
Our programs are based on the principle of Harm Reduction:
Harm Reduction is a way of dealing with alcohol and drug use - its main goal is to reduce their negative effects. Harm Reduction focuses on your well-being instead of trying to stop you using drugs and alcohol completely, which can be hard to do in the short term.
Our program is culturally safe and designed for our Aboriginal community.
We can assist you if yourself or your family is impacted with problems associated with gambling or financial troubles. You are able to volunteer for this program or you may reach out to our SEWB team directly for more information.
The service includes:
Individual and family counseling that supports recovery through MIND, BODY, SPIRIT
Prevention through education and capacity-building programs
Promotion of the MDAS Gambler's Help service to the Aboriginal community
Additional supports can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week at:
